About Us

Welcome to our blog.

We are Daphne (left) and Darlene (right), Wisconsin natives who love to travel. (We sometimes like to call ourselves the Double D touring company.)

We have taken many trips, both throughout the good old U.S. of A. (we have visited all 50 states) and internationally.

We had hoped that 2020 would be a big travel year for us, but then the pandemic arrived. In order to avoid going stir crazy, we decided we would embark on some day trips that would allow us to get out of the house while still taking reasonable precautions to keep ourselves and others healthy. While touring Wisconsin isn’t quite the same as wine tasting in Napa Valley (one of our fave activities), our home state has spectacular scenery and lots to offer. We know many of you may also be experiencing cabin fever, so we thought we would share our journeys with you. We hope you check back as we add miles to our odometer and great memories to our travel journal. We welcome comments, questions, and suggestions for future trips. See you on the road.
